The Fall Line is a geologic transition point from the hard rock of the Appalachians to the soft sediments of the Coastal Plain. This drastic change in environment limits certain fishes to either reside in the rocky rapids above the line or the slow muddy systems below. I took a trip above the Fall Line to Nectar, Alabama and used multiple techniques to try and pull up some new species.
