Panic Purchasing & Homemade Jib Sheet Bags

We are trying to make the most of it all. Being patient waiting for our brand new sail and staying busy. But the bliss radiates when our repaired sail gets delivered. We are so grateful for Tim from Doyle Sails. He picked up our ripped sail in Mission Bay and here he is dropping the fixed sail off to us in San Diego! Wow what service! While on deck, I cannot take my eyes off the bright yellow jerry cans and I've been skeeming how to hide these for awhile. My bright idea of using the old sail cover, was unsuccessful for there was not enough material. So what else could we make with this material!?!?

We feel famous when we get our first big shout out in traffic while walking down the street! Our amazing subscriber Graham, thank you for making us feel so special with that big shout out in traffic! 

Then it's off to take a break from the rocky A9 anchorage and change up location with another permit to Glorietta bay! Anchoring in 25 knot wind was quite the adventure and it was the first time we got feet away from sailing IWA ahhhhhh!!!!

Maybe we are stressed from that, for we are in a full panic purchasing!!! Last week before heading to Mexico so we are in full blown stoking up! Come along to see if we find some goodies! Hopefully all you cruisers out there can get some good ideas!
