After 3 defeats on the road Oxford United were happy to be back at home, and the feel good vibes continued in the early part of this EFL Championship Season. It was a fine battling performance for Oxford United which finished Oxford United 3-1 Preston North End. Please enjoy my review of this Sky Bet Championship game.

It ended well for #OUFC but it didn't start well as Preston took the lead early and really took the game by the scruff of the neck and could have been winning by more. Emil Riis put Preston ahead inside three minutes from close range, but Mark Harris carried on his brilliant start to the season making it 4 goals from 4 league games. 1-1 at HT, but Oxford Utd needed a bit of magic and it was provided by Tyler Goodrham to make it 2-1. Liam Lindsay saw red for North End, and then Gregg Leigh made the game comfortable for United with a tap in. A great win for Oxford and a good start to life in the Championship. For Preston things should improve under Michael Heckingbottom, but this result will Irk the Preston Fans.
