Hey what’s going on everybody, Rick here, let’s take a moment and catch up on some of the latest them park happening from the past week.

I’ll get to some HHN news in a bit, but first some things from the Mouse House to mention.

Disney World has set the opening date of Tiana's Bayou Adventure.
That reimagined attraction, once known as splash mountain, will be opening to all guests on June 28th.
The “Princess and the Frog”-inspired attraction will feature tunes from the movie and a new original soundtrack.
There will also be a new band of critters that were created for the ride.
When the ride opens, officials said it will use a virtual queue.
Guests can request to join the queue through the My Disney Experience app at one of two times: 7 a.m. or 1 p.m.
While a standby queue will not be available during the attraction’s initial opening days, officials said they expect to open a standby queue soon after the attraction’s opening.
Disney said the attraction will also be included as a Lightning Lane entrance in Disney Genie+.
Guests can check the My Disney Experience app on the day of their visit for pricing and availability.
Prepare to get wet. Disney said riders may get wet during the attraction.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own rain gear if they want to avoid the water.
Officials also said ponchos will be available throughout Magic Kingdom for purchase.
Shop new attraction merchandise.
Guests can find the collections for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and “The Princess and the Frog”-inspired merchandise at the Emporium at Magic Kingdom starting on June 28, officials said.
Shortly after the attraction debuts, the merchandise will move over to Critter Co-Op in Frontierland.
Try some of Tiana's Famous Beignets:
On opening day, Golden Oak Outpost and The Friar’s Nook will be serving up sweet and fluffy beignets drizzled with honey and powdered sugar. These will be available for a limited time only.

Nikki and I do a lot of water activities in the area, kayaking & sup boarding so I like the cypress tree. I interested to see the inside of the attraction.

Disney also announces details for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2024.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Disney World will will return to Magic Kingdom on select nights starting Aug. 9, and will run through Oct. 31.
Guests can expect new costumes from Mickey and Minnie, more villain sightings, a DescenDANCE Party and more.
This is a separately-ticketed event. And tickets can be purchased right now.

Universal Orlando announces Slaughter Sinema 2 for Halloween Horror Nights 33.
Uniquely announced during the Spooky Empire Halloween Horror Nights Panel, this is the first official haunted house announcement for HHN 33.
Slaughter Sinema 2, the sequel house to the 2018 Slaughter Sinema ,will introduce fans to eight new fake horror movies.
So the first house announcement was for an original house not an IP house.
But with the seal now broken, we are hopeful for more house announcements on a more regular basis.
