Monster Star Wars Sandwich Challenge!!

A&Z #882 - Randy Santel "Atlas" vs The Baker's Box's "Kessel Run" Monster Star Wars Sandwich Challenge at The Baker's Box in Hendersonville, North Carolina!! After leaving the Summerville, South Carolina area, before heading to Atlanta, Georgia for a challenge, I traveled up to Hendersonville, North Carolina to help my friends George and Mara kick off their new food challenge at their restaurant called The Baker's Box. They have been watching our videos for a few years now, and the restaurant is both Harry Potter and Star Wars themed. I had a 45 minute time limit to finish their "Kessel Run" Monster Sandwich Challenge, which was all so delicious!! The sandwich had 1lb of ham, 1lb of turkey, and 1lb of roast beef, stacked and layered with 4 slices each of Cheddar, Swiss, and Provolone cheeses. It was all topped with healthy lettuce, tomatoes, and bread & butter pickles, with a spicy Creole mustard, all on a 1lb challah bun. The challenge included a 1lb side of fries, and I was trying to become the first person to win my $50 sandwich meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on their Wall of Fame. Thank you to everyone with The Baker's Box for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality, and also for staying open late so I could take the challenge. Thanks also to everyone who came to watch and meet me!! I appreciate everyone around the Hendersonville, NC area and throughout the state of North Carolina who watches our videos and supports our hard efforts!!

The Baker's Box's "Kessel Run" Monster Star Wars Sandwich Challenge in Hendersonville, NC ($50):

- The Baker's Box serves pastries, breads. gourmet sandwiches, wraps, salads, and dinners.
- They have been operating in the Hendersonville, North Carolina area for a few years now.
- The restaurant is Harry Potter and Star Wars themed, where the challenge gets its name from.
- The sandwich includes 1lb ham, 1lb turkey, and 1lb of roast beef which they cook & slice there.
- There is 4 slices each of Cheddar, Swiss, and Provolone cheeses, layered between the meats.
- The bread for the sandwich is a 1lb challah bun, and it is topped with some healthy vegetables.
- The veggies include fresh locally-sourced lettuce, tomatoes, and tasty bread & butter pickles.
- There is a 45 minute time limit to finish, which gets referred to as "12 parsecs" (from Star Wars).
- Winners get the $50 meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and their name & photo goes on the Wall of Fame.
