Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has condoled the deaths in the tragic bus accident near Chitradurga, calling the incident heartbreaking and deeply disturbing. In a statement, the Chief Minister said that hearing reports of several passengers being burned alive in the horrific collision between a lorry and a bus had left hearts trembling. He noted with sorrow that the journey of passengers travelling to their villages for Christmas holidays ended in tragedy.
