The National Motorcycle Rally of Ireland 2024

Video of our recent participation in Ireland's 1st ever National Touring Rally.
This was a non-competitive “shot-gun, start scatter rally” open to all motorcycles over the weekend of the 31st Aug and 1st Sept 2024
24 Checkpoints (Fuel Stations) were dotted around the island of Ireland covering all regions. Riders picked 12 Checkpoints and were required to obtain a receipt from each checkpoint as proof that they were there.

Our group of 5 riders set off on our journey starting with Checkpoint #1 in Gorey, County Wexford. We then set up camp at the end of day 1 for the night at Eagle Point campsite in Bantry, West Cork.
On day 2 we took the scenic roads over the Caha Pass and Molls Gap to Killarney to pick up CheckPoint 6. Our 12th and final Checkpoint was at the Mayfield Filling Station in Kildare.
