Fresh off our visit from NAMM, we had an excellent experience visiting the Schimmel booth, where they’ve undoubtedly brought the most impressive-looking array of pianos at the entire show.

It’s clear that this year, Schimmel has gone out of their way to display their incredible design and inlay looks on their pianos, but, at the back of the room, something caught our eye more so than anything else: The Schimmel Black Pearl piano.

Ultra deep-black finishes have been getting a lot of coverage recently, mainly in the automotive industry, but seeing it applied to these Schimmel pianos is a real show-stopper.
