Joe Longthorne performing at 'The Royal Variety Performance 20 November 1989' in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and HRH The Duke Of Edinburgh.

Joe was deeply honoured to be invited to perform, here's his setlist :-

'I Who Have Nothing'
To All The Girls I've Loved Before'
With his 'guests' in the form of his incredible vocal tributes to
Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Johnny Mathis ,Barry Manilow and Tony Bennett, Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones,Des O"Connor,Julio Iglesias,Max Bygraves and Engelbert Humperdinck.

Closing with the Don Black classic 'If I Never Sing Another Song' , originally performed by Matt Monro, but a song Joe made his own in the late 1980's due to a life or death battle with Leukaemia which would go on to last more than 30 years and sadly end with Joe's passing on 3 August 2019.
Quoting just one line from the song 'You Know My Name' , the world will always remember Joe's name in the world of Music and Entertainment.
