The province of Laguna is well-known for its beautiful waterfalls, which many visitors enjoy visiting especially on hot summer days. Majayjay Falls is one of the most well-known waterfalls.

Majayjay Laguna is 1,000 feet above sea level and is located at the foot of Mt. Banahaw. It is 120 kilometers south of Manila and is bounded on the north by the municipality of Magdalena, on the south by Lucban, Quezon, on the east by Lusiana, and on the west by Liliw.

Majayjay Falls is also known as Taytay Falls because the falls is located in Barangay Taytay in Majayjay Laguna. I t is also known as Imelda Falls because Imelda Marcos funded the promotion of tourism in this place.

To reach Majayjay or Taytay Falls, you have to go down the stone steps leading to a kilometer-long trail (around 10-15 minutes walk).
Its surroundings are densely forested with a variety of wild plants and trees.
