Mixology is Cambridgeshire's New House Movement put together by a collection of DJs influenced and inspired by an eclectic range of musical genres such as Disco, House, UK Garage, Hip Hop & Indie! The event takes place at RED | ROOM (Peterborough, UK) on the last Friday of every month.

Since our inception in early 2012, Mixology have been hosting one of the most innovative, commoving and vibrant parties in the East of England. The likes of Crazy P, Danny Daze, Finnebassen, Kolombo, Adana Twins, Huxley, Amine Edge & DANCE, Maxxi Soundsystem, Miguel Campbell, James Silk, Kreature, SION & Andy Baxter have all guest appeared during the past year and to wide acclaim from knowledgeable house heads and punters who would never envisaged enjoying house music.

This Halloween, Mixology brings you two headline acts ready to delve into their cauldron of productions to ensure your skeleton rhythmically reverberates from the grooving, ghoulish bass, Red Room's imperious sound system will be inflicting.

DEMARZO
DeMarzo aka Marc Wormald who prides himself on a sound that is deep, provocative and eclectic has in the past couple of years shown exactly that with releases on the likes of Hot Creations, 2DIY4 & Noir.
'Draw A Line' on Hot Creations has been one of the tracks of the summer and has been championed by the likes of Pete Tong and head honcho of Hot Creations, Jamie Jones.

BLUFORD DUCK
Brought up on a diet of 80's pop, Italo Disco and US house & garage, musically awoken by early 90's rave culture and latterly driven by an ever growing desire for depth, quality and the unending search for the perfect kick drum; Bluford Duck DJ sets, live shows and productions combine all of the above to create a dancefloor hybrid designed solely to move your feet.
The crisp production style is ultra current yet formative influences are worn like a badge resulting in productions packed tight with punchy drums and low subs but bursting at the seams with retro elements.
With releases already signed to the likes of Noir Music and props coming from some of the scene's elite, Bluford Duck is undoubtedly one to watch...

RED | ROOM
The RED | ROOM in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire was once an old stage room to the prestigious Embassy building where artists such as the Beatles and Rolling Stones once played. Still maintaining its heritage, the RED | ROOM is now a new music based establishment aimed at showcasing artists and DJ's from around the globe. The exciting 400 capacity venue features a powerful Martin Audio Sound System and a cleverly positioned LED DJ booth which turns the whole venue into one intimate dance floor!
