Big Indiana Public Land Buck Down!


So week 2 and 3 of Indiana Deer season was tough! Very little deer movement. I hunted public land ONLY during this two week period.

However, on the evening of October 23 a public land stud showed himself! He presented to me an easy 24 yard shot, then ran 20 yards and just fell down and didn't move again. This is my largest buck to date and I am very excited I was able to do it on public land with a bow!

I have caught this buck on trail camera since August! I checked my cameras October 22 and the buck was just there the previous evening. So the wind was good and I decided to hunt the area on the evening of October 23.

I am sorry I was unable to get any footage of the actual hunt but this buck is worth me to me than any video.
