After 16 years of high-performance driver education (HPDE) events, I have finally made it to PCA Club Racing and my rookie event at Watkins Glen International raceway. It was the single best day of my life.

For my racing friends ... yes, I know that I made lots of mistakes and missed lots of opportunities! My only goal was to survive, bring the car home safely, and get acclimated to intense wheel to wheel, bumper to bumper racing.

Clearly, that happened!
