Melodie F major Op. 3/1 (1852), by the Russian composer Anton Rubinstein (1829 – 1894).

Melody op. 3/1 is one of Rubinstein's most famous pieces. For me, the imagination of a door was a nice idea for shaping this piece. You always open it just a crack or find excuses not to enter the room behind it. But you can't stop trying either. At the last appearance of the theme, the moment has finally come, you walk through the door and enter a new world.
