This is an Indo-Chinese style Beef chilli recipe. Best with chinese rice of any choice or chow mein.

Ingredients:
For beef
Beef - 2kg long cut
Soy sauce - 2tbs
Black pepper powder - 1 tbsp
Water - 2 cups

For sauce
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Soy sauce - 3 tsp
Chilli sauce or chilli paste - 3 tsp
Vinegar - 2 tsp
Egg white - 1

For cooking
Oil
Onions - 1-2 long cut
Green chillies - 10-15 long cut
Soy sauce
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Chilli paste 2 tbsp
Ketchup 2 tbsp
Salt - according to taste
Brown sugar (optional) 1-2 tbsp
Black pepper (optional) 1-2 tsp

Directions:
Step 1
Long cut the beef, add to a pressure cooker, add soy sauce and black pepper and water to it and let it cook for 40-45 minutes till the beef is tender and cooked.

Prepare the sauce:
Mix ginger garlic paste, soy sauce, chilli sauce and vinegar, then add 1 beaten egg white to it and mix well.
Separate the beef from the beef stock (the leftover water that the beef cooked it) and add the beef to the sauce. Mix it well and let it sit for 15 minutes.

*Optional step
You can fry the beef in oil to make it crunchy after coating it in the sauce. I didn’t fry mine.

Add oil to a pot and add the ginger garlic paste to it. Let it cook slightly till it gives off aroma. Then add the onions and cook them till they are transparent and tender. Add the soy sauce, chilli paste and ketchup to it and cook the sauces for 2-3 minutes. Then add the beef mixture and cook for 5-7 minutes. Then add the green chillies.
Add the beef stock that we kept aside.

The quantity varies on how much sauce you want your dish to have. If you want more, you can chicken stock to it or some water. If you want it less, add less of the beef stock.

Now let this cook till it comes to a boil. You can add brown sugar and black pepper (optional) at this point.

Cook further and then add corn flour slurry to it and let it cook till the sauce thickens. Turn off the stove ones it has reached your desired thickness. And your beef chilli with gravy is ready to be served!
