As one of the busiest market days (on Mondays), the Manavgat Farmers Market offered a colorful variety of Mediterranean specialties: aromatic fruits, crunchy vegetables, fresh herbs, spices, homemade cheeses, olives, and eggs—often organic and directly from local farmers.

👕 A Paradise for Bargain Hunters
In the covered textile section, visitors found clothes, bags, scarves, and accessories—including many brand look-alikes, a typical feature of Turkish markets. Sellers were ready to haggle, so negotiating was part of the fun.

🍽️ Food, Tea & Market Vibes
Street food stands and cafés served traditional gözleme, Turkish tea, and coffee, giving shoppers a chance to take a break and enjoy the lively crowd. The scent of fresh dough, spices, and grilled items filled the air.

👥 A Mix of Locals and Tourists
People from Side, Kumköy, and surrounding areas came by Dolmuş (minibuses)—with shuttles running every 10–20 minutes in the morning. The market was packed with both locals and tourists, creating a bustling, authentic Turkish atmosphere with narrow walkways and lots of bartering.


💡 Insider Tip
Those who came early—around 8 a.m.—got the best produce selection. In the afternoon, vendors often dropped prices to clear out remaining stock.
