PWN Bikepacking Tranquility - A short overnight trip along Canyon Creek

Описание к видео PWN Bikepacking Tranquility - A short overnight trip along Canyon Creek

This trip came together last minute. I found a ride on Ride with GPS that I could turn into an overnight bikepacking trip. The goal of this ride wasn't to put in hard days, but rather, find some peace and tranquility in the forest as I rode along Canyon Creek and the Lewis River.

I (mostly inadvertently) ended up front loading day 1 with about 50 miles and 5,800 feet of elevation. Day two was probably closer to 20 miles with less than 1,000 feet of elevation.

The route was a mixture of pavement and gravel. I'd say about 50/50.
There are lots of stops for fishing and swimming along the way in either Canyon Creek or the Lewis River.

I stopped at Canyon Creek campground but decided not to stay because it was too short into the trip and there were a few big groups there who looked like they were going to be partying.

I ended up finding a great camp spot along the Lewis River.

Overall this was a relaxing trip and I found what I was searching for.
