Turning my attention to the cylinder head, those worn valve guides needed replacing and when the owner originally asked about re opening a blanked off exhaust port - originally this was a 'Twin port' head - I suggested it might be tricky and best left alone. However, I decided to have a go after all, it wasn't too easy by any stretch, but it turned out ok in the end!
