Circular Economy of Waste | Dr. Binish Desai | TEDxGateway

Dr. Desai shares with us the current situation of waste and why it is a serious problem. Sharing solutions to it he tells us how waste is today’s gold and we need the right tools to mine it.
He also takes us on his journey of how to convert waste into social eco innovations and introduces us to the concept of circular economy of waste.
Dr Binish Desai famously known as the Recycle man of India is an inventor and social entrepreneur
He is founder of Eco Eclectic Technologies and has been working with zero waste technologies since age 11. His works have helped him convert 850 tonnes of waste into more than 150 products.
He comes from a small town of Valsad in Gujarat and at age 25 he has been named in Forbes 30 Under 30 list of most successful social entrepreneurs in Asia.
His company Eco Lights studio is helping rural women get employment by training them to convert waste into beautiful pieces of decor.
