Firstly, we'll take a closer look at the pedal assist mode, which is currently set to 5. If you use the throttle at this setting, you'll notice that the bike moves at a UK legal speed of roughly 16 km/hour (3.4 miles/hour).

1. Start by switching off the display by pressing the 'M' button for 2 seconds.
2. Then, hold the brake lever, the left side, the throttle, and the 'M' button all together for 8-9 seconds.
