Finally, a movie theatre popcorn recipe at home is revealed. After decades in the entertainment industry I will show you how to make authentic tasting movie theatre popcorn using the exact same ingredients the big movie theatre companies use. In the 1950's, 60's and early 70's movie theatres used clarified butter topping (butter with the milk solids & water removed). This type of butter, not only super delicious but it kept the popcorn crisp and not soggy like traditional butter. Since the 70's theatres switched to a soybean oil based butter flavoring product that is used today. I prefer the taste of the real butter, the clarified butter aka Ghee which you will see in this episode.
