Feeding Our Chinese Water Dragon!

Let's feed our male Chinese Water Dragon! Feeding our animals is always an amazing and thrilling part of the job!
We are feeding our male Chinese Water Dragon, Rex; a lot of crickets today. Crickets can make up the large majority of a Chinese Water Dragon's diet. In Canada we do not have access to Dubia Roaches so crickets have to replace these. Water Dragons are primarily insectivores, which means Water Dragons only really eat insects. Crickets, Superworms and Hornworms will make up almost all of a Water Dragon's diet. If you are looking for a Chinese Water Dragon Diet video please check out our other videos.
We feed our Water Dragons in a tote to minimize the chance of our animals going without food or being bothered at night by curious crickets. It also allows our animals to run after their own food. Feeding them in a tote also gives them enrichment, giving them the thrill of the hunt!
Also look how calm Rex is in front of the camera! Not shy at all!
