Taiwan researchers have developed a nasal spray vaccine that can be used in the fight against cancer. The National Health Research Institutes found that the vaccine, delivered through the nasal mucosal tissues, can stimulate the immune system to improve the efficacy of immunotherapy against cancer.
The findings have already shown promise in animal tests. Let''s hear from a researcher.

We tested it in the lab on mouse models. We first introduced cancer cells in the mice and then applied our nanoemulsion, to see its results. It was extremely effective in mice for both in situ tumors and metastatic tumors.

The findings were published in the Journal for ImmunoTherapy of Cancer and has been granted a patent in Taiwan.
