This is a dry cleaners guide to removing a MASCARA stain (I also picked a waterproof mascara because it’s much harder to remove), here is what you need:

Micellar water, a plastic tool for rubbing (ideally a spotting bone), a cleaning towel, patience

1) Put a clean towel that you don’t care about behind the stain
2) Pour micellar water on top of stain (no need to wait, this process is more about using the micellar water to carry the stain away)
3) Work the stain through the garment onto the towel with your tool (I would avoid using a brush as it will do more spreading than pushing and I would also avoid anything metal as it will likely create tears or holes). You want it to transfer from your garment to the towel (this is why an old towel you don’t care about is important)
4) Check to see if the stain transferred, if it did, move the working area to a new part of the towel
5) Repeat this process until its out
6) Give it at least a rinse, but a proper wash would be best

To all those folks that are going to comment, bUt hAiRsPRaY WOrkS toO. I tried literally everything before crating this guide: hand sanitizer (kind of works), acetone (kind of works), isopropyl alcohol (kind of works), face wash, WD40, oxygen bleach (HP and powdered soaks), hairspray, chlorine bleach, enzymatic stain removers, detergent, dish soap and vinegar.
