Come fishing and see how we sustainably harvest beautiful Chilipepper, Vermilion, Canary, Boccaccio and other species of Rockfish and Lingcod while avoiding any bycatch species in order to provide an essential source of affordable protein to our community. These fisheries are under strict regulations and managed through a limited quota system and extensive protected areas. The fishing practices involved take into consideration the optimal low impact to the environment and ultimate respect for the resource. By not having any hooks contact the bottom and actively tending to the gear we are able to avoid any potential marine life entanglement scenario and certain overfished species such as Cowcod and Yelloweye. Any bycatch species that are encountered are immediately released back down to depth via a descending device to combat the effects of the barotrauma encountered on their ascent through the pressure zones.
