Make your own wood stain

Hey Guys if you want to save money on wood stain re-use old engine oils.
Stains are so expensive these days so I've done a little research and found that engine oil makes for a good wood stain and some of my projects that I have built have turned out pretty awesome.
I'm mixing 800ml of oil to 200ml of Turpentine good for the paint brush.
but go a 50\50 mix if you want to spray it.
I only use the engine oil stain on outdoor wood, do not use it around food or indoors.
