Bangladesh Cyclone: Thousands Without Power In South After Cyclone Causes Severe Flooding

Cyclone has flooded coastal villages, blown away thatched roofs and left hundreds of thousands of people without power in southern Bangladesh. Nearly 800-thousand residents had evacuated ahead of Cyclone Remal. TV stations reported the storm surge damaged and washed away flood protection embankments, causing flooding in dozens of villages. Local media reported seven deaths.
