Описание к видео How to Teach Lyrical Dance, Part One, Dance Warm Up, Floor Stretches, Center Floor Adagio, Cathy Roe

The first part of Cathy's Teaching Lyrical Jazz Dance series is devoted to warm-up exercises that develop a dancer's classical technique while cultivating a "jazz" style. Titles constantly appear on your TV screen to assure proper understanding of terminology and class formatting.

Specifically, Part I includes:

Opening stretches in the lyrical jazz style
Center Barre
Floor work & "intense" stretch
Adage #1: low intermediate
Adage #2: high intermediate

Copyright Cathy Roe Productions 1995. After decades of producing and selling my instructional dance videos, I am releasing them to the public to use for free. If you use my choreography, please just credit me or the other featured choreographers in your program or competition. I am happy to set these dances free to all, and to have my dances stay alive. They may "vintage', but hopefully still loads of fun for you and your dancers.

The phone numbers and catalogs shown probably aren't correct or available anymore.
