by Karen Zatkulak  A dangerous act turns into a tragic accident, taking the life of a Marion County man.  It happened on Tuesday while several friends were car surfing.The family of Brian Hollis tells us he was riding on top of an SUV, when he fell off and suffered a severe head injury.     Investigators are still looking into exactly how it happened.  But both family and witnesses, say Hollis took a terrible fall, from the top of the moving vehicle.Brian Hollis was known by many as a talented musician.  His family tells us he loved playing the guitar, singing, and even writing his own songs. Hollis was 28 years old.  His sister says he loved to have a good time, and was a daredevil who loved his family.  But on Tuesday, on Long Island Road, just over the state line in Jackson County, Alabama, Hollis suffered a tragic fall.A neighbor tells us that just minutes before the accident just down the road she saw the car go by with Hollis kneeling on top.His family says the two friends with Hollis said the same thing, that he and another person were car surfing.  We're told the railroad tracks were too bumpy, and may have caused Hollis to tumble off, and hit his head.Meanwhile the church his family attends nearby is dealing with the loss, as his loved ones, from nearby New Hope, prepare to lay Hollis to rest.Online, those who knew him offer their condolences to the family, posting about how much the friend, brother, and son will be missed.Hollis' funeral will be held on Sunday at 2pm at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home.  We did speak with Hollis' mother who says she wants the driver charged.  The Alabama Highway Patrol says the accident is still under investigation.
