Robots typically use kinematics to calculate motion paths. By default, these calculations are performed relative to the Base or World frame. However, when a Work object frame is defined, the robot computes the path relative to this localized frame instead.

A key advantage of using a Work object frame is that its origin (midpoint) is set to zero within the context of the task, allowing the robot to work with smaller, more manageable coordinate values. This simplifies programming and increases both precision and efficiency during operation.
