🎥 Welcome back to another episode of Our Dance Life!
We’re thrilled to bring you Episode 6 — and this one is extra special because… WE’RE GOING TO JAPAN! 🇯🇵✨

Visiting Japan has been a dream of mine since I was a kid, and I still can’t believe it finally happened. Our journey kicked off bright and early — 3 AM departure from The Edge (as seen in Episode 5!) — straight to the airport and off on an unforgettable adventure.

We’re beyond grateful to Haruka Okada for warmly welcoming us, picking us up from the airport, and showing us around Tokyo. We had a few incredible days exploring the city, enjoying the most amazing food, and connecting with the wonderful West Coast Swing community in Japan.

One of the biggest surprises? The dancers performed one of our old choreographies — a routine we created years ago! It was such a touching and humbling moment.

Huge thanks to Aya Sugihara for inviting us to teach, and to all the dancers who made us feel so at home. Thank you for embracing us, letting me practice my Japanese, and sharing your energy and passion. We absolutely adored our time with you all.

🎉 This is Part 1 of our Japan-Korea adventure — we’ll be heading to Korea next for an event before returning to Japan, so stay tuned for Part 2!
