How to Respond to Narcissistic People!

We’ve been taking a look at the behaviors and personalities that make up a narcissistic person, but what do we do when we discern these people in our lives? How do we respond?

The first thing we can do if we’ve discerned a narcissistic person in our lives is to pray. It is vital that we don’t skip this step. Ask God what you should do and where you should go.

The Bible assures us in James 1:5 that if any of us lacks wisdom that we can ask God and He will give it generously! Take this to the Lord and ask how to navigate it. Some next steps after praying would be seeking wise counsel, setting healthy boundaries, and practicing forgiveness and grace.

Begin today asking for wisdom from the God who gives generously and seek to respond with grace and love as you do what’s necessary to preserve and protect the call of God on your life!
