Описание к видео Sapporo Slow Travel Guide: 13 Days in Hokkaido's Capital

THIS IS IT. Episode 1. The first stop on our never-ending trip around the world.

We left the UK in June 2025, stepped off the plane in Sapporo, Japan, and had absolutely no idea what we were doing. This was our first time leaving the UK for long-term travel, and honestly? We were terrified and excited in equal measure.

We spent 13 days in Sapporo figuring things out—what we did, where we stayed, what we ate, and exactly what it cost (spoiler: £58 per person per day).

🌍 ABOUT PROJECT LIVE A LOT:

This is where it all started.

We left the UK in June 2025 with no return ticket. Just wanted to try new things, see more, live more, and figure out what we actually want from life.

I'm Josh, this is Erin, and this is Project Live A Lot—our never-ending trip around the world. Sapporo was our first stop, and this is episode 1 of that journey.

WHERE WE'VE BEEN:
🇯🇵 Japan (3 months) → 🇰🇷 South Korea → 🇹🇼 Taiwan → 🇻🇳 Vietnam (where we are now)

Every place gets a full video with real costs, honest opinions, and actual useful information. The kind of videos we watched before leaving that actually helped us plan this whole thing.

WHAT YOU'LL GET:
Look, we're not influencers. We don't have a trust fund. We just make videos about where we've been, what we did, what it cost, and whether it was worth it.

City guides with every cost broken down
Day trips and how to book them
Honest food reviews (we'll tell you when something's overrated)
The reality of long-term travel, not just the Instagram version
Slow travel - we stay weeks or months, not days
Mid-range budget (not luxury, not hostels)

HOW THIS WORKS:
📺 YouTube = where we've been (detailed guides, 3-6 months later)
📱 Instagram = where we are right now (daily updates)

WHO WE ARE:
Josh: Business owner obsessed with finding strange things to do in cities. Techy stuff, the supernatural, personality psychology, eating my way through every city.

Erin: Designer turned Instagram video editor. Makes sure we actually experience places instead of just filming them. Keeps me sane. Crochets in her spare time.

We'd been together 5 years when we decided the UK wasn't where we wanted to be. So we left. Best decision we ever made.
