Washington State QB Gardner Minshew
Senior 6’2 220 lbs

WSU QB Gardner Minshew was set to transfer to Alabama, but changed his mind to play for Mike Leach in the air raid style offense. It was probably the best decision he could’ve made as he fit in perfectly. At Alabama, he probably would’ve sat behind Heisman finalist Tua Tagovailoa & serviceable backup Jalen Hurts.

In his one season at Wazzu, Minshew threw for over 4000 yards & threw 36 touchdowns. He played just as well as Luke Falk, who lead the Cougar offense the previous 3 seasons. For a while, there wasn’t a more popular player in all of college football, as he took the CFB world by storm with his play & style. His mustache was a big hit among Washington State fans. Against Arizona, he broke the school record with 7 touchdown passes in one game. Minshew is an NFL prospect that might be intriguing to some NFL teams.
