I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream is a 1995 point and click game based on the 1967 short science fiction story of the same name from author Harlan Ellison. Set in a dystopian future, a super computer known as AM has destroyed all of humanity save for 5 people which it keeps alive to constantly torture in revenge for its creation. AM sends each character through scenarios where they are forced to confront their demons, past trauma, and ethical dilemmas, but through doing so they may unlock the secret to destroying AM forever and saving their own species.
