This unique little hammer was built by Breeze(073) & Me(1883) and we built it with the most durable parts that basically can be used.

We got this Vicious Hammer laced out with all Metal Clads except for the output cap(because we have a 140PF 1000v), & the 330PF cap on the input transformer of the final(2 pill) section(were unable to find metal clads in a 330PF Value).

We had a custom 5/8 transformer made for this box and it was a total experiment to see if it would even tune out and the box actually had a gain of 11w just from this input transformer.(ANY BUILDERS or TECHNICIANS wanting to try out some of these custom 5/8 1" Transformers, send me a message.

We didn't have to back down the Driver Transistor(2SC2879) to much. We tuned this amp on 15v-16v so we can back it down and be very percise about it.

This Beast of a Linear Amplifier is equiped with 3 types of protection.

1. Reverse Polarity Protection. If the power wire is hooked up back words the + will not be shunted to GND.

2. Reverse Polarity Protection for the Input Signal(Coax) connection. If the Coax Cable is hooked up backwards the Relay will make a very small chatter sound to alert you of the issue with out causing damage to the Relay or any other connections inside the amp.

3. Reflect Protection. This will actually save your Amp, Radio, and any other devices hooked inline if some one keyed up a lot of wattage around your vehicle or base antenna. Also this doesn't allow any reflect at all what so ever to come back in the amp. Meaning, as long as there is not 5000v @ 3amps coming back in the amp, you are protected.

One negative aspect about this is that you will not have a accurate S.W.R. reading because no reflect can enter back in the amp. So you will always be shown a 1:1:1 reading with the amp inline.

This amp can have a drive up to 43w PEP inputed into it with out causing damage to the internal driver. This type of configuration is concidered to be a HD(High Drive) Amplifier.
