November 2024 election: Measure 118

Supporters and opponents of Measure 118, which would create a new tax to fund annual payments to Oregonians, debate the impacts of the measure on Oregon’s economy in an endorsement interview with The Oregonian editorial board on Sept. 12. Proponents include chief petitioner Antonio Gisbert, Income Movement founder Stacey Rutland and supporter Keri Troehler. Opponents include Angela Wilhelms and Erik Lukens of Oregon Business & Industry, and Neel Pender of Hilltop Public Solutions.
