Shawn Michaels

In the summer of 2004, I had the opportunity to interview WWE superstar Shawn Michaels. "The Heartbreak Kid" had recently returned to wrestling from a career threatening injury and had accepted Jesus as his savior just two years earlier. However, when I watched what I had recorded, I was dismayed that there was a pronounced audio hum on the tape. I recently found that old mini DV tape stashed in a box of old tapes. After watching the interview for the first time in over twelve years, I decided that what Mr. Michaels had to say was too valuable to keep hidden away. In fact, I was moved by much of what he said and was amazed that I had forgotten how pleasant he was. So, here is that entire interview complete with audio hum and a couple of video glitches. I hope these annoyances won't detract from what, in retrospect, is one of my favorite interviews.
