This banjo is made out of pinewood bought in a lokal wood store. The wood is not normally used for banjos. Its not at all old and nice dry wood. Its the same kind of wood you bye for fences and other cheap things for you garden. This very banjo I made doing the pandemic. It was in 2020 and its still playing very well. It has no tonering.
11" inch blockrin with extra thickness to prevent cracks in the semi-dry pinewood. Today there are no crasks what so ever.
Laminated very strong neck
