The unique bridges of Kolkata are carrying Heritage, History, and pride over the generations and are maintained by the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata.

The one of its kind in the whole nation, Swing Bridge, connecting the Kidderpore, Metiabruz, Garden Reach area to the other parts of the "City of Joy", can move straight up to 90 degrees to allow the vessels to cross.

The one of its kind , Bascule Bridge, connecting the same areas, has two leaves moving vertically for the smooth movement of vessel traffic.

The 81 years old Howrah Bridge or Rabindra Setu is a true Landmark connecting Howrah, a prime industrial zone of the state to the Capital city of Kolkata.
