Plans to visit somewhere in Nairn called for a bus journey to get there, and this is that bus journey!

SL14 DBY is one of three Beachball-liveried Enviro300s in the North Scotland fleet and it's got quite a nice engine sound! Enjoyable to listen to for the duration of the journey for sure! It does slightly suffer from the usual ADL rattles but it's not the worst I've heard either. Given some First Bus examples have significantly worse sounding engines than this, I'll give this bus my approval!

Route 12 was introduced when Highland Country Buses and Bluebird Buses were merged into one entity and ran between Inverness and Elgin. It's since been cut back significantly to only run between Forres and Elgin, probably largely to do with the coach-operated M96 route doubling its frequency to hourly Monday-Saturday. I have one or two other runs on the now non-existent section of the 12 to post at some point so keep an eye out for those too! Enjoy! :D
