Throughout the past year, Metaplanet's Bitcoin Income Generation business has consistently generated revenue and net income, creating a positive cash flow. The establishment of a subsidiary in Miami, Florida, will enable Metaplanet to clearly expand its operations into the US market.

Having an international subsidiary also enhances business transparency and allows for a systematic separation of Bitcoin Income Generation operations from core Bitcoin Treasury Operations. This strategic move improves efficiency in oversight, transparency, and risk management, which are crucial aspects of digital asset-related businesses.

Metaplanet Income Corp. starts with a registered capital of $15 million and an experienced management team, including Simon Gerovich, Dylan LeClair, and Darren Winia, who will oversee Bitcoin business operations and related transactions.

While the company expects this expansion to have no significant impact on 2025 financial results, it is considered a strategic step towards long-term revenue growth, particularly in the US market, where institutional and large investors are increasingly interested in Bitcoin and digital assets.
