Kilcluney Volunteers ~ Thiepval To Ulster Tower ~ Somme ~ France ~ 20/06/24 (4K)

As part of the bands 75th Anniversary members of Kilcluney Volunteers Flute Band from Markethill and accompanying friends went on a Battlefield Pilgrimage to France & Belgium to visit the battlefields of WW1 in June 2024. On the 2nd day of the tour they went to the 'Thiepval Memorial To The Missing" where they held a short 'Act Of Remembrance' after which they then paraded from Thiepval down the Sunken Road through 'No Man's Land' to the Ulster Tower. This was on the second day of their trip Thursday 20/06/2024.
This is footage from that parade which i have entitled "In The Footsteps Of Heroes" as this was the area their forefathers had marched back in 1916 as part of the 36th Ulster Division in the Battle of the Somme which started on the 1st July 1916.
