Okay, so today we have an unboxing and a possible install.
Uniden graciously sent me this, and I’m so excited. Let’s open it up.
I am so shook right now.
This is the Uniden R4W Extreme Radar Detector.
It’s going in the Cayman because, although I do not speed, that car is an immediate cop magnet.
Let’s go put this in there.
It comes with this case and a bunch of accessories, including the radar detector itself.
Peeling it — so satisfying.
Look at the sleek design. I love it. Let’s install this.
Here’s my interior right now.
I think I’m going to put it right here.
Just so you know, I have a banner, which means you can’t put certain things in certain places.
Here’s a tip — put your R4W high and center, just behind the mirror.
You’ll get better range and it looks cleaner.
So, this is where I’m mounting it.
Time to go test this thing out.
Still in the neighborhood, but it’s showing my speed very accurately.
It’s super easy to use — the plug-and-play setup is awesome.
Guys, I’m having to go into second gear because we’re going so slow.
