DragonOS FocalX Sending Text Messages Over the Air with HackRF (GnuRadio, HackRF-Minimodem-ImGui)

Описание к видео DragonOS FocalX Sending Text Messages Over the Air with HackRF (GnuRadio, HackRF-Minimodem-ImGui)

In this video we'll be using two HackRF software defined radios and a new project called HackRF-Minimodem-ImGui. Leveraging the power of GNU Radio and Minimodem, messages and data from one computer are sent to another over the airwaves using HackRF.

The project, available on GitHub, provides a user-friendly GUI interface where you can input message content, baud rate, frequency, and more, making the transmission process remarkably intuitive.

To kick things off, I showcase the use of SigDigger alongside an RTL-SDR device on the same computer as one of the HackRFs. By visualizing the signal transmitted by the HackRF, viewers gain insight into its modulation scheme (likely FSK), setting the stage for the main demonstration.

As I initiate the transmission, SigDigger captures the signal w/ the RTL-SDR allowing you to hear the characteristic modem-like sounds as it decodes the incoming messages.

In the last part of the video, I present a dual-computer setup featuring two separate HackRFs, seamlessly exchanging messages back and forth over the air. It's a great display of SDR technology in action, highlighting the versatility and potential of HackRF coupled with GNU Radio and Minimodem.
