Changing the raw water impellers on our Bayliner 3888, the port side is hard…

Mike tackles the impeller change out for the raw water pumps. The starboard side was pretty straightforward and easy to access so he started there. The port side is a bit challenging, but he found a way. The real time change out took about 4 hours over 4 trips to the boat, not including some clean up done on the starboard side at home. Hopefully this can help you prepare and speed it up for you.

Wrenches and ratcheting sockets: 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm
Vice grips
Pry bar or flat blade for prying
Scraper for cleaning
