Remembering ‘Bertie’ - A Winter Westie’s Christmas Tail - Owners Moving Tribute

A short festive film by Gary Lewis remembering Bertie the Westie who we sadly lost in 2020. A lovely dog and much missed companion who truly deserves to be remembered and now finally gets to star in his own little video.

During a Christmas Day winter's walk in Elmdon park Bertie the Westie starts finding magical 'Bertie Stones', but how many are there and can he find them all in the snow before it's time to go home?


It was always my intention to make a short video about Bertie, based on our many walks and adventures around Elmdon Park and church grounds.
This film was developed out of a half finished short film project started in 2019, that remained on the shelf till literally just a few weeks ago when l felt the time was right to complete the film.
80% of the footage and photographs used are from the original film with some very recently taken photographs of the church (actually on Christmas Day 2022) to complete the film's visual look. The storyline of the film was changed slightly to give it a relevant festive Christmas theme.
