The 40th Anniversary of the CQMX Championships kicked off for Round 1 in the Beef Capital of Australia, held at the infamous Six Mile Raceway located 15 minutes from the Rockhampton CBD.

Riders were forced to show grit, determination and will power to brave the weather events that were occuring. Extreme humidity thunderstorms were cast over the track for the two days, but riders such as Jai Walker, Kaleb Barham, Brock Flynn and Deacon Payce, were able to shine through the weather and harsh conditions to unveil themselves on the top step of the podium in their respective classes!
