Sarah, Leo, and Brad check into an upscale hotel in London. Sarah is shown to the Victoria Room by the concierge, who then shows her the things that the staff has purchased for her based on the approximate measurements Brad provided. With a beaming smile, Sarah falls into the bed. She kicks off her shoes and looks at her treasure.
Rudy is back at Yogi's, contacting law firms once more in search of employment. Prince notes that there are clients who are awaiting assistance. When Rudy dismisses him, he is not impressed. Rudy begins to ask him for a loan, but Prince strongly opposes the idea.
New employees are being interviewed at Bruiser's office. They're all awful. Deck asks Bruiser if she has missed Rudy yet after they had left. The sheer number of persons on the deposition list astounds her. Because she genuinely believes everything Rudy says, Deck makes the case for bringing him back.
The dinner service in London, where they serve what Keeley refers to as "the best soufflé Suissesse outside of Paris," dazzles Sarah. He praises Sarah's performance in court and toasts her as their "little lion." They all drink when Brad and Leo lift their glasses, and Brad and Sarah exchange goo-goo looks while the bubbles burst.
Mary, Rudy's mother, gives him some tough love advise on how to get back on his feet when he visits her. Even though he claimed to be there to visit her.
She claims that in order to avoid going to the cemetery where John is buried, they have kept his room as a shrine and are avoiding having to come to terms with his passing.
Rudy's focus on Kelly should come as no surprise, as he felt compelled to protect her after learning that her husband was abusing her. However, he was unsure of how to do so while keeping himself safe, and after she was discharged from the hospital, he realised that she couldn't go home or to his flat. He turned to Prince for assistance, as he can assist in making people vanish, but he doesn't directly assist with Kelly's case. Prince disagrees with Rudy's suggestion that he is taking Kelly.
Rudy then turns to Dot, who is more than happy to have Kelly stay at her house. Rudy is a man who stands up for what is right, and Dot can see that. All he needed was a reminder that he has a fire in his gut.
Sarah found out she passed the bar in the last episode. Rudy became anxious when everyone else received their scores. As it happens, the reason for the delay was to allow the bar to verify Rudy's results. The bar wasn't entirely sure that he received the highest score in the previous ten or so years. Naturally, it needs to be checked, and as a result, a letter with the wonderful news was sent to his home. After accidentally opening it, his mother allowed him to read the letter before describing its contents.
