Chalet at the Falls Harrison, Arkansas

Chalet at the Falls was a beautiful little cabin that we stayed at on our 2nd trip to the Buffalo River. Come to find out these cabins used to be a resort for the old Dogpatch USA. What a treat for us since we like to explore. The community appears be some permanent residents as well as other tourist. There are still quite a few abandoned chalets. I hope there is a total restoration in store for this little gem of an area in the Ozarks. If you are expecting deep woods this is not the place but it still had a beautiful view off the deck out back and still had a woodsy feel. We loved staying here because the price was right and the location was perfect to get to the store quickly!
